I fell in love with Jack Russell Terriers after watching a fellow member  Bryanne and her Jack Russell Terrier, Cody.  Cody went  from our club's kindergarten class,  to my basic  class  to the next level of obedience for the Novice ring. I had made the decision to retire my Border Collie, Starr from flyball and needed to find another dog for flyball. This, of course, led me
to search for the perfect  flyball dog.  And as all of you know, there is no such thing.  So I  decided after watching Cody for the last two  years, to get a Jack Russell Terrier.  After a few months  of  research  I  found a  breeder  in  Florida  and pur-
chased a nine  week old  male which  I named  Blew  Bayou pronounced    ( Blew  By You ),   get  it.  So  Bayou  is  now approaching  one year  old and will  debut in flyball  this next year.   I   have only done limited  training  with him for  flyball waiting  for him to mature.   So  keep  your  eyes  open  and watch  this  boy grow  and mature with his fellow team mem-
bers of 321 Lift Off Flyball Racing Team.

Well, we  finally made it.  You talk about holding your breath, praying he  runs a  complete,  clean run and does not  cross over.   Now we are  ready to start fine  tuning  our swimmers turn, our speed and confidence with passing.    I am sure we will  get there  eventually but what a rush.   He comes off the racing track strutting his stuff.   You can't tell  me these dogs don't get a rush just like we do, when they race.
